Gilbert/Chandler Pop Warner Football is a youth football program for children ages 5-15, offering both flag football and tackle football. Children will be placed on a roster based on their age and weight.
Gilbert/Chandler Pop Warner Football serves not just Gilbert and Chandler, but parts of Tempe, Mesa and Queen Creek (Please ‘Contact Us’ for more info on this).
Pop Warner is not just about football, it also teaches your children responsibility, leadership, health, teamwork and discipline, with the goal of turning them into great people, not just great football players.
Holding to the traditions of Pop Warner Football, we also place a strong emphasis on education and safety.
We require all players to maintain adequate grades in the classroom in order to play and those under-performing will be offered help to get their grades up so they are eligible to play.
Safety first! Gilbert/Chandler Pop Warner enforces a strict age and weight limit, reducing the risk of injury to the player and creating a safer football environment for the players. As a note on safety, Pop Warner Football has 12% fewer injuries, per capita among 5-15 year olds than organized soccer in the same range! (U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission)
Price includes all equipment. All players are insured during practices and games through pop warner insurance.
